Multiple European petroleum companies are victims of cyber attacks

 Multiple oil transportation and storage companies have been the target of cyberattacks across Europe. According to the latest information, cyber-attacks have been reported in at least 12 oil depots and transport terminals. News from the BBC.

According to a BBC report on Friday (February 4th), well-known oil companies such as Weltanking in Germany, SEA-Invest in Belgium, and Aves in the Netherlands have been the victims of a surprise cyber attack. The report also said that the online activities of at least three petroleum companies in Belgium and the Netherlands were being severely disrupted.


Prosecutors at Belgium's famous petroleum company say they are investigating a cyberattack on the CEA-Invest terminal. A spokesman for the company said all ports operated by them in Europe and Africa had come under cyber attack last Sunday. The company is still working to get backup of its IT management system. We are also aware of cyber attacks on other companies. But the investigation has so far found no link.
